About us

“I founded European Technology Group after spending years at the crossroads of entrepreneurship and institutional investing. Along the way, I came to see the limitations of a system that left founders of successful software companies with two flawed options: sell to a competitor focused on synergies, or to a fund aiming for a quick resale.

I believed there was a better way, one that respected the legacy founders had built and supported long-term growth rather than short-term gains.

That’s why I created European Technology Group: a permanent home for Europe’s leading public-sector software businesses. Backed by long-term capital and a network of entrepreneurial partners, we’re here to invest in people, nurture innovation, and protect the unique DNA of each company, without the pressure of an exit timeline.“

Become part of an exceptional team

We’re bringing together a team of highly talented individuals who share our long-term vision: to build an entrepreneurial, Europe-focused software platform designed for lasting impact.

Long-Term. Entrepreneurial. Trust-Based.

European Technology Group is not a traditional investor. We offer a distinctive approach to succession for software businesses — rooted in permanence, partnership, and a deep understanding of technology.

We think in generations, not in fund cycles. Our ambition is to acquire businesses and hold them for the long term. We are not in the business of buying, restructuring, and selling. Instead, we build for the future and focus on preserving what already works. Your team, your culture, and your products remain at the centre. We respect what makes your company unique and support you where it matters — without interfering in day-to-day operations.

As technology-driven entrepreneurs with deep industry experience, we understand software from the inside out — both strategically and technically. We invest in people and innovation, building group-wide engineering capabilities that help our companies grow sustainably and on their own terms.

Above all, we believe in the power of connection. Our growing network of specialised software companies — particularly in public and regulated markets — creates opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and long-term partnerships.

Meaningful Partnerships for Software Companies with Legacy.

We support founders and owners of software companies in passing on their life’s work — respectfully, responsibly, and with a clear commitment to long-term continuity and growth.

We understand what it takes to build a company. Our role is to protect what you’ve created — and to carry it forward in your spirit.

We are not exit-driven. Our evergreen model ensures stability, continuity, and a trusted foundation for the future.

We act pragmatically and responsibly — with the mindset of business owners, not financial engineers.

Honest conversations, clear expectations, and mutual trust form the foundation of every partnership we enter.

We believe in learning from one another — across businesses, on equal footing, and with the goal of continuous improvement.
